Sailing on Lake Annecy
Annecy Lake is a great place to try out sailing. There are a lot of sailing clubs and schools around lake Annecy, and the consistent north or south winds make it an ideal destination to get a taste of dinghy sailing. We can arrange a half day session in dinghys from the beautiful lakeside town of Menthon, about 25 minutes drive.
Experienced sailors can hire a dinghy and take it to explore the mountain lake - enjoy the sunshine and dive in for a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters, or moor up at one of the classic lakeside villages for a drink before sailing back.
Those new to sailing can enjoy introductory sessions where you will be 2 to a boat, with an instructor between groups of 6 or so, and we will have you tacking and jibing in no time in the calm, warm waters of Menthon bay.
