The Aravis Lodge
The Aravis Lodge is the perfect hotel base for short-break activity holidays in the French Alps. Relaxed, sociable and comfortable, our turn-of-the-century catered chalet-hotel in St Jean de Sixt will make you feel totally at home. In fact, with biking, climbing, walking, canyoning, kayaking and many other adventures on the doorstep; comfortable en-suite rooms, a fully stocked bar, spacious lounge, sky TV and dvd, gym, sauna, sun terrace and a lively, friendly team on hand, you might start to feel too comfortable!
Many of our guests return to the Aravis Lodge time and again. We think the friendly, sociable atmosphere; comfortable, spacious living areas; delicious food; convenient location near Geneva and Annecy; and our attention to detail all go someway to explaining this.

Food is the fuel of any adventure holiday, so we make sure you will be well fuelled at breakfast, before transporting you to and from activities and recommending the best spots for lunch. When you have got your adrenaline fix for the day we will bring you back for tea, homemade cakes or something stiffer from the bar, then serve a 3 course dinner with wine in our large dining room. The rest of the night is yours - relax in the lounge with board games, join us in the bar for another drink or two, chill out in front of a film or sky tv, or ask us to drive you into La Clusaz to sample the nightlife.
